SureThing CD and DVD Labeler
As far as I see it, after burning something onto a CD or DVD, you could do one of two things to make sure you know what’s on that CD or DVD. You could for example get a marker and write on the DVD. Let’s say you burned a DVD for grandma, a DVD with the photos you shot during your vacation in Maui, you could write something like “Maui Photos for Grandma”.
That is one way to go about it and its pretty low-tech if you ask me. Personally, I would go another route. I would turn to software and to be more precise to a labeler and with its help I would create a good looking label for my DVD. Take the example presented above – I would create a label that grandma would really like, something that pops.
SureThing CD/DVD Labeler offered by MicroVision Development is the application you could use for this task. It is a powerful yet easy to use application that will meet all your label creation needs. You can create labels and case inserts using the existing layouts and templates or you could use your own images. To get a better idea of what you can put on a label with this application, here’s a quick list:
- Use existing layouts and templates. There are a multitude of labels to choose from, and more than 5000 background and clipart images to use.
- Use your own images and edit them. Create photo collages and put them on the label or case insert. Scan images directly into SureThing CD/DVD Labeler and use them for your label.
- Import song titles and artist/album info from audio CDs and include this info on your label. It must be mentioned here that the application provides support for iTunes, Windows Media Player, Real Player, Winamp and other media players.
- Use a variety of fonts.
- Insert circular text on your labels.
The labels you create with SureThing CD/DVD Labeler can be easily printed thanks to the fact that the application supports numerous CD and DVD printers.
The bottom line is that creating labels for CDs and DVDs as well as case inserts is a piece of cake with SureThing CD/DVD Labeler. It is a powerful application that you can use to create stunning labels for your disks.
